I love using a blue-toned palette for fleshtones... it gives it an other-worldly but still beautiful feeling, like early picassos.  This young woman has strong features and a stoic expression.

It's an 14" x 18" painting on stretched canvas. It will fit standard size frames... but the sides are also painted to match so no framing is necessary

About the artist: I am a contemporary artist living in Los Angeles. I recieved my BFA in painting at the Rhode Island School of Design.

I paint almost exclusively in oils using artist grade materials. If you have specific questions about materials, I am always happy to do my best to answer them.
