from a german collection of instruments.

!!! Very rare so one antique guitar lute has so good condition !!!

Conditions :               

Good condition for its age.The varnish is still in good condition and very shiny. It has many beautiful ornamentation at the soundhole, is really amazing wonderful. All 6 Pins are made from wood with perlmut. This Lute has 6 brandnew Lute-Strings from "Martins" . The carving on headstock is still original, it has one minimal a bit brocken but only some milimeter (have a look please at the last picture). Moreover this lute has only one very small haircrack under the footbridge. Maybe some hair surface scratches are available because of its age. This lute is very rare, especially for its age. All mechanics, footbridge, saddle, string supports and swivels are OK. The instrument is mechanically stable don't shake or clatter. One musician said me that,

The lute is playable.

An  interesting and  high-quality instrument for the ambitious player or  collector.
