If you collect scissors, you will love the pictures in this book. The text is in French, but much is understandable. I occasionally type a section of it into an online translator if it's one I really want to know more about. The antique scissors shown cover everything from jeweled gold examples to humble steel thimbles, and even some more modern examples. Many antique etuis and sewing sets are also illustrated.

The pictures are gorgeous and all in color. It's soft cover, 372 pages and measures 5 1/2" by 5 1/2". It was published in Paris in 2003 and the ISBN number is 2-0820-0888-6.
