This guitar is amazing. The craftmanship is flawless. The instrument is very versatile when it comes to sounds. The variable selector switch allows you a variety of capacitors to change the voicing of the pickups. It can cover a wide-range of sound from super clean to overdriven crunch. I played this through my Mesa Boogie Fifty Caliber with no effects but a small amount of reverb for band rehearsal and was blown away at how good this guitar sounds without any effects. The fact that it is a sealed semi-hollow body (no f-holes)makes it virtually feedback free. I like the double cutaway design which is like having my SG with a little more versatility. I am heavy into the blues and this guitar is perfect for that. It is a very comfortable guitar to play. Epiphone builds a very quality working man's guitar. I was originally looking for an ES-335 or a Sheraton II model but I can honestly say this guitar does it all and then some. Great clean Jazz sounds or Country as well. As far as form, fit & funtion combined with not spending several thousand on a Gibson, this guitar has alot of features and quality for the price; you cannot beat it. If it were lost or stolen I would definitely replace it.Read full review
A fine guitar, just beware of the weight if you're expecting a lightweight jazz guitar. It's around the 10 lb mark, similar to a solid body les paul. If that's not a problem, it's a great guitar for a reasonable price. Did need a setup, but after minor adjustments plays great.

This guitar is beautiful and it is a copy of BB Kings with his dial. The guitar was as new I found 1 pick scratch on this bad boy. Trying to learn, but a new rescue dog is stealing the free time. I feel lucky $475 for a brand new guitar.

Lucille is a beautiful guitar. Sounds very nice, feels great to the touch. Teamed up with my Marshall MG30CFX and BOSS Blues Driver, I gave it a quick tune and it was magic! The fact that it came with the hardcase was a huge plus. Very plush interior. Just an all out pleasure to look at, pick up, etc. I definitely suggest anyone in the market for a classy guitar with that blues flair and sound, look into this one.

I had done some research on the Epiphone BB King guitar and there were great reviews.I liked everything that the guitar offered,as the more expensive Gibson guitar offered.I am an intermediate player and to me the guitar sounds wonderful, playin the blues and rock and basically any genre of music. One problem I had with the Epiphone is that I did not get a proper serial number.I found a site where you can find out when and where the guitar was produced. The guitar had a stickon serial number and it wasn't Kosher.I sent pictures of the guitar to the gibson site and at least they said it was the real thing.Having checked the prices for a new Lucille guitar and getting it for the price I did also made me buy it.
