Detailed
Description
Here we have a rare 1980's Pilot Grandee Set.
The feature I like best about the Pilot Grandee is the nib. It is a round style nib where the gold nib wraps around the back of the pen just like the famous Pilot Ultra of the 1950s.
The next thing you will fall in love with about this pen is the lovely urushi lacquer finish. The surface almost seems alive, and when you hold the pen in your hand you see why there is such a huge demand for these lacquer pens.
I've sold a few Grandee pens in the last 15 years. However, this is the first time I have ever seen a Grandee ballpoint pen, and this is the first time a set of these pens has ever been offered on ebay.
Another stylish feature is the clip design. It is a long sleek clip with a crown mounted spring hing. The clip easily adjusts to any pocket thickness and then latches on strongly so you won't ever lose your pen.
The ballpoint pen accepts modern Pilot refills, and a new one is in the pen. Both pens are ready to write.

Also keep in mind
that you only need to pay shipping once for an order.
If you win one item and intend to bid on more, simply
let us know and we will hold your pens and ship them
all together to save you money. Also it is true that
we often ship bonus items with our orders. No Parker
Snakes or solid gold overlay pens, nothing like that,
but always something interesting. So if you receive
all your pens and find something extra, it wasn't
a mistake. Keep in mind that a bonus is simply that.
Do not bid, expecting one, and we certainly can not
take orders on what someone thinks their bonus should
be, but we do like to make sure our bidders are always
happy and completely satisfied with their wins. |
