WOOD BURNING IRON RANGE

 This 1933 stove has been sitting and being used  to cook on occasion in its original Hoosier Homestead home right up to this year. Very sharp, and demands attention as soon as you enter the room.  It is in remarkable original condition right down to the Company's manual seen in the photos. I even have a letter stamped, addressed and dated to the owner from the company in1942 war time notifying current owners of a hold up in manufacturing for the duration of the war to produce 500lb bombs for the US forces to carry our message to the enemy. The cookbook/ manual has 273 pages of all kinds of extra information and illustrations. How to assemble with every part listed etc. Over 50 pages of testimonials from every state. The IN governors daughter has a comment in the Indiana section.  In the recipe section there may be over a hundred old recipes, all from 1933 and prior.

We have an extra reservoir/ boiler;  both are full copper lined. The stove is complete stove with no missing or broken parts which is difficult to find. Lining and Grates are not rust, and in perfect condition; grates dump with ease.  

The stove is in excellent shape and ready to use. Original with no repairs or damage. Granite is in superb shape compared to the majority of old iron stoves you'll see. Well operating unit, has always been inside a home its whole life, never stored, not rusty !  Super example that is fully functional and radiates warmth and beauty at the same time. I just noticed in the pictures, dark spots you seen at the bottom of the chimney base; They are cooked on splatter and not rust. Sorry,  I should have cleaned it off before we took the pictures. There is another dark spot above the fire door panel seen in a picture above. Also, a cooked on stain. I chipped it off with my finger nail.
