This is a signed and numbered or dated? (1986) beautiful piece of the world renowned art glass blower John De Wit. I bought this piece at a children's hospital charity store in Seattle. He is a world renowned glass blower artist who worked with another very famous art glass blower here in Seattle, and then taught at his famous School (you will have to do a search as apparently I cannot say the name in my listing) The pictures really do not do this justice. There is a predominance of the color black mixed with emerald green there are white speckles that can be seen translucently throughout this wonderful piece. You can easily feel the glass break-off at the bottom of the piece. The inside has a white swirl pattern which you can palpitate on the outside of this wonderfully rare work of hand blown glass by a world renowned artist who's current works command approx $4000.00 to $6000.00. You can look him up on the internet and find lots of information on him. And don't forget this is a signed piece that I believe is dated but it could be numbered? The size of this piece is across not including bottom is approx 15" and around approx 26" if i do count the base it is 22" around. The mouth is approx 2" wide.
