2003 Lismore Range - Merlot

Armed with a pair of pruning scissors and muddy gloves, Geoff Hardy set out on his quest to build the largest viticultural business in Australia. Now, his name is synonymous with quality Australian wine. This ruby, robust Merlot has a soft, enjoyable character which offers a complex bouquet of black cherries and scrumptious fruitcake. It holds a sophisticated palate with earthy nuances and refined velvety tannins, which makes it a spectacularly quaffable wine with pasta and hard cheese, such as parmesan.

2005 Deepwater Point - Cabernet Sauvignon

Vintage 2005 was a year for the record books all over California. The weather conditions were so perfect that there were too many grapes for the wineries. So, Winemaker Matt Praetzel was able to hand pick the finest Cabernet grapes from select vineyards along the Estrella River in Paso Robles. Barreled in French and American oak for seven months to round out the tannins of the wine, strong aromas of dried currant, black pepper and anise complement your palate. The wine finishes with dark fruit and dusted mocha flavors. This is a hearty wine that will be a great partner to steak or a juicy veal chop.

2005 Renideo Syrah

Producer: Renideo Vineyards

Made from low-yielding Syrah vines, the 2005 Renideo Syrah has intensely concentrated berries that create aromas of blackberry, raspberry and blackcurrant. Full-bodied with silky tannins and a hint of Asian spices on the finish, the winemaker recommends that this distinctive red breathe an hour before serving at room temperature. Serve alongside dishes like hearty pastas with red sauces, roasted eggplant and grilled lamb chops.

With its easterly location off the coast of Italy's famous boot, Sicily's triangular shape was coined by the Greek playwright Homer as "Trinacria." Because the island's climate enjoyed much of the Mediterranean's balmy climatic conditions, fruits and other vegetation thrived. As such, the Phoenicians referred to the island by the word “Sik,” (meaning "fast growing fruit"), which was eventually adopted by the Greeks who reshaped the word into the name by which the island goes by to this day — Sicily, which literally means "Land Of Fertility."
