These are the comic books I collected years ago, carefully preserved in a box in my late mother's home, and now being offered to collectors. Watch for others being listed on eBay.
To assist in grading, I offer the following descriptions of various aspects of these comic books. I am not a collector nor experienced grader, and I'm trying to be as complete, accurate, and honest as possible to assist you, the buyer, in determining the "grade" of these issues.
- WFC 085: This is complete except for the cover, which is missing. The spine is torn about halfway down, with a tear onto the front page. Page color is light brown.
- WFC 094: The cover is present, bright, and attached at both staples. There is obvious wear to the spine, and an "M" is crayoned onto the cover. The original owner's name (mine) is written with crayon and pencil at the top margin, above the artwork, of the first page. Page color is cream, and all pages are present and intact.
- WFC 108: This issue is rather intact, other than the missing cover. Staples are tight, pages are all intact with no rips or writing. Page color is dark cream.
- WFC c.1956: The cover page of this issue is missing, so I do not know the date. Based on a contest inside, it is from 1956. There is a tear at the spine into the body, and general spine wear. Pages are light tan in color. Although the first page is missing, the last page of the last story is present.
