The 27 Dark Horse Comics up for auction are the complete series “X” published from 1994 to 1996. This auction includes the “Hero Special #2” and the “One Shot To The Head” comics. “X” is a Punisher-type hero out to bring down the mobsters who control the city of Arcadia. The series was written by Steven Grant and the pencils by Doug Mahnke and Javier Saltares. The One Shot features a cover by Frank Miller and The Predator makes an appearance. The books are all in NM to MINT condition. Dark Horse has just released Volume One (Volume 2 is being released later this year) of this series for $24.95. This auction includes the entire series for a low opening bid of $5.99.
