We use UPS Ground for most packages (exceptions are listed below). We are set up to quickly and easily use UPS services. We have a daily pickup Tuesday through Friday. If any loss or damage occurs (which is super rare in our experience), we can easily file the necessary claims online and swiftly get you a refund or replacement.

EXCEPTIONS TO THE UPS GROUND RULE:
a). Packaged items that weigh 13oz or less, for which we will gladly use USPS First Class with Delivery Confirmation.
b). Books, DVDs, Blu-Ray Discs, Vinyl Records, VHS & Cassette tapes will be shipped via USPS Media Mail with Delivery Confirmation.
c). Packages to Hawaii, Alaska, and U.S. territories outside the continental U.S. may be less expensive via USPS Priority Mail. If that's where you live, please contact us about the shipment and quotes before you bid.

GUIDELINES & REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. SHIPMENTS

1. If the item you purchased is less than $9.99, and is able to be shipped by either First Class or Media Mail, it will be your OPTION to insure the package or not. If you choose not to insure your package, Zaldiva will not refund or replace any damaged items. In this same situation, items valued at $10.00 or more are required to have insurance - so please don't ask us to remove that fee from your shipping quote.
2. UPS already provides tracking in the standard rates. USPS does not. So, if you're item will be shipped by any USPS service, we will have included the fee for Delivery Confirmation in your shipping quote.

1. UPS Ground shipments automatically include step by step package tracking and full insurance coverage up to $100.  USPS shipments do not. To "kind of" track a USPS package, you must add Delivery Confirmation at a rate of $.65 to $.75. It is not step by step tracking, it only makes it easy to see that they have indeed delivered an item or not. Insurance on USPS packages starts at $1.65. Filing claims on USPS insurance is a lengthy and exhaustive process. If an item is lost, the claim cannot even be filed until 30 days after the shipment.
2. USPS Parcel Post and/or Priority are often more expensive than our UPS Ground rates once Insurance and Delivery Confirmation is added.
3. Any books containing advertising (comics, magazines, etc.) do not qualify for USPS Media Mail. If they're spot checked, they'll return the package to us and we will have wasted the money. Therefore, any book or magazine containing advertising will be shipped via UPS Ground if it weighs more than 13oz. (13oz or under qualifies for USPS First Class)
4. USPS provides a pickup service ONLY for Priority and Express Mail packages. First Class, Media Mail, even Parcel Post packages are not included in the service, so shipping via the post office means driving to the post office and waiting online. Fun!
