WOW! THIS IS AN AWESOME EARLY, WIND-UP TOY! It was made in 1926 by Marx. The toy is named SNOOPY and GUS. It is in fantastic condition, and all wind up parts work as they are supposed to! The fire ladder spins in circles, causing our friendly fireman to hang on for his life. The front wheels are eccentric, causing the vehicle to twist and turn randomly.  The steering wheel moves up and down, causing the driver to "buck" in this seat. Perched in the front seat is the driver, accompanied by his trusty Fire Dog. It is clearly marked on the rear of the seat, with the EARLY Marx logo, and the toy title. There is very limited litho wear, and some very slight loss to painted surfaces. For example, you can see a small area of wear on the windshield frame, near the driver. The windshield itself, a plastic film, is still intact. These are almost always missing. There is some noted litho wear on the hood and grill edge, as well as a small area on the crown of the hood itself.

SIZE:     8" LONG,    7 1/2" TALL.
