XAINGQI The Chinese form of chess, xiangqi, is probably the most-played board game in the world. Here is a very pleasing simple wooden folding set, with rules given in diagrams and clear English. ALL WOOD Both the folding board and the little round pieces are of wood. The markings are burned, not printed, on the board and on the pieces as well. Although this set is simple, it has an elegant feel and beautiful, natural look. HANDY, FOR TRAVEL The board measures 9 inches when open, and the playing pieces are just about 3/4 inch in diameter. See the pictures below, and note how neatly the pieces fit into the folded board, which closes with a small magnet. A felt pouch is included to hold the board and protect it during travel. RULES IN ENGLISH The rule booklet is in clear and concise English, with illustrations and diagrams to show the board set-up, the pieces and their moves. Shipping, etc... Shipping is by Priority Mail: 2-3 "business days" within the U.S., 6-10 "business days" to other countries.
