Native legends speak of crystal skulls as an inheritance from ancient times. Said to “talk and sing” they are believed to carry messages for all mankind, including what may be discovered when we overcome our fear of death.
All of the skulls that I list have been with the ancient crystal skull known as "Synergy" and are fully charged with this subtle energy.
The first layer you encounter when working with any skull, including Synergy, is "to remember." This is the first layer - and this layer has many other layers within it. What you are to called to remember is who you really are. It's so easy to get caught up in the daily things and forget that each life is short and sweet, even with the difficulties. I brought a number of skulls and crystals to the 09-09-09 World Mysteries Event in Tempe to charge with the energy of the various ancient and powerful crystal skulls that were together in one place for the first time. This is an Extra Extra Large Quartz Crystal skull! This is a new carving style, by the same man who did my (now retired) Mayan Shaman Style. It was based on Synergy and I feel you can see this best in the profile views. Very energetic! This one has both very clear areas and interesting inclusions. It is common for this carving style to have tiny organic spots on the surface of the stone from inclusions that were close to the surface as the carver polished the stone. Each one is totally unique, and hand carved, so there are bound to be differences between each one! This particular skull has one such inclusion at the back of the head, for example. The photos just can't do it justice - it is much nicer 'in person', I guarantee it! Check out how it works with subtle energies below.

Quartz is often said to be the ‘stone’ that every one needs to start with and is the most recognized type of crystal. It's what many people think of when they hear the word crystal, although there are many different types of crystals in all kinds of stones. Quartz can be as clear as ice (ancients called quartz ‘Holy Ice’ and thought that it came from the heavens) or milky white. People have asked me about how I clear my stones. I use a variety of methods, depending on the stone type. Some I clear in salt water, others with sunlight or moonlight. Some I have used sage and/or cedar on. After they are cleared, I put each of them near Synergy, rotating them around, until they are ready to go out into the world.' Every one of the stones that I list - in any shape - has been with Synergy and is fully charged with the energy - after all... that's the whole point of me doing this!

Here is one way for you to work with your crystal skull:
Hold your skull firmly in either both hands, or in just the right hand, keeping the thought of what you wish to work with in mind. The crystal receives the energies via the physical body of the person holding it, absorbs the vibrations, then amplifies them and re-broadcasts them outwards. These amplifications are received by the chakra (or receptors) in the left hand and relayed up the arm, to the brain, to a gland called the hypothalamus and or the limbic system, impressing the vibrations on the sub-conscious mind. The energy continues on, moving down to the right hand, holding the crystal. The process continues in a loop, reinforcing itself. The skull shape is thought to be especially effective in this process, as the inside back of the skull acts as a kind of satellite dish, to broadcast the vibrations of the person using it.
