In pushing the limits of the human body and spirit, Xanda demands a total commitment by its students to a fighting and training regime that has no equal. They live for combat - and they are the best of the best. Xanda is martial arts at its most extreme.

After a friend is injured in a scrap with a local tough guy, Kung-fu expert Qiang (Sang Wei-lin) decides to compete in the lucrative Xanda tournament - hoping to win money to pay his friend's medical bill. Quiang begins to train under the severe regime of Coach Tieh (Zhang Hong-jun), but his first real match is a disaster and he soon quits and loses himself in alcohol. Quiang?s future in Xanda seems washed up - but this man has the heart of a champion, and when yet another friend needs his help, Quiang claws his way back to the ring for a fight to finish.
