Save a lot of money running gas - running natural gas and LPG (if from large storage tank) can save you a lot of money over gasoline. In most areas, the cost of pipe natural gas for running this generator is 30% - 40% less that of gasoline. The cost of LPG from tank is usually less than gasoline. You never have to fill up (if you have pipe natural gas) and the carburetor will never foul up.

Dual fuel is better than Tri-fuel: This generator is better durability and more efficient than those Tri-fuel generators which can take also gasoline. The engine and carburetor of this generator is custom designed for burning gas much more efficiently with less problems. The tri-fuel generators usually take a gasoline generator and converting it to gas by changing to a special carburetor. The performance is compromised. If you mix used gas with the relatively dirty gasoline, the special tri-fuel carburetor would foul up very fast. Therefore, it is better to have a gas only generator.
