One thing for sure , there's not another set up like this anywhere! Where to start? Well the piano for one thing is Yamaha's top of the line C3 6'1" Grand Piano. Originally purchased new in 1998 the piano was used just as furniture! The cabinet as you will see is in perfect condition with no scratches nicks or dents. I have taken many pictures of this piano and can take as many as you like of any aspect you desire. Interior is excellent with no damage or repairs! Strings are as new, afterall the piano is barely 10 years old. Today a polished white C3 is special order so be prepared to pay full retail which is around $39k ($4000 more than Polished Black, Yikes!) Hammers and action are as new and the piano sounds great. Try to have a good set of speakers connected to your computer it will give you a good idea of what to expect in the included video. The Yamaha C3 is a Conservatory Grand and is built for use in a commercial application. Very commonly found in rehearsal studios, cruise ships, churches and recording studios it is a well known fact the C3 is the most sought after 6' Grand. Now for the extras, we recently installed a Piano Disc Syncavision player system, as you will see in the video it beats the Disklavier hands down for ease of use and entertainment value. No more CD's! Everything is controlled with one small remote with 3 buttons, ever see Yamaha's remote? Their handheld device is extremely complicated and that's if you can even see it! Many of the features are demonstrated in the video as there is just too much to list here. One thing for sure as time goes on you can add hardware or software upgrades whereas Yamaha Disklavier is rendered obsolete with every new model that comes out. Just try to upgrade a Disklavier Mark 3 to a Mark 4, you can't. The Syncavision is an Apple Computer based system that allows you to upgrade with new technology as it progresses. With the factory installed Yamaha system it's Yamaha and what you have is what you have for the life of the piano! The Syncavision enables you do also enjoy the latest in video software including music videos, Kareoke, silent movies, piano lessons and much more. As a full function computer the Apple Mini Mac is ready to go online for downloading new music or for use like any desk top or laptop.
Now for the JukeBox!
About 10 years ago I bought several of these Wurlitzer Elvis Presley Special Edition Jukeboxes for use with our player grand pianos. I sold all but one which I kept for myself in the store as a showpiece. Only 500 were produced and no more, this is number 456. Originally I had the jukebox stocked with player piano CD's and you would be able to select a song from the menu on the control panel and the piano would play. Since some CD's contained piano accompaniment the jukebox would play along in sync with the piano. As you see the jukebox here it is just being used as an extension speaker for the Syncavision player piano system. It also has a wireless reciever with it so that it can be located at a remote location from the piano. The jukebox is a commercial unit complete with coin slot and ready to be loaded with any CD's of your choice which is what I recommend. You can also connect your Ipod as it is complete with extra inputs and outputs, so you can enjoy both your favorite store bought albums as well as state of the art Yamaha player piano. Although the Jukebox is 10 years old it has rarely been used. I would demonstrate it on rare occasions and apart from that it never has been used on a regular basis. I didn't even turn it on for fear of giving it unecessary wear and tear. Recently I had it checked up by a Wurlitzer Jukebox technician and everything was found to be up to spec. It is in perfect condition and it still manufactured today but not in the Elvis Edition.
