If you are familiar with what Piano Outlet generally offers on Ebay you will know we rarely offer any instrument previous to 1980. This piano is the exception. Recently out of a private residence and one owner since purchased new in 1977, the only thing this piano really needed was a good cleaning, restringing and detailing. While in our facility we also treated this piano to a soundboard stripping and clearcoating with the same finish found on Yamaha's new soundboards. This soundboard did NOT need any repairs as it was completely flawless. No cracks or pressure ridges were present. The exterior finish is also 100% completely original with no nicks or chips or flaws typical with a used piano. There aren't even any "swirl marks" usually associated with a piano that has been "buffed out" to simulate a new finish. NO need to worry about this piano being able to hold a tune as the tuning pins are tight as can be as well as up to factory spec. This piano will last it's new owner another 30 years without any trouble. Action is as new and freshly regulated by our in house Steinway piano builder of over 30 years experience at the Steinway factory in NYC. He will be happy to speak to any technician for any questions or concerns. This piano is truly a great value and perfect for a recording studio or professional musician.
