Yamaha YDP223 is an 88-note, 64-voice polyphonic piano keyboard, with weighted action keys, and Graded Hammer Action touch response, which faithfully emulates the feel of the upper and lower registers of an acoustic piano.

Yamaha YDP223 keyboard is built into a handsome rosewood finished console cabinet, which features twin 6" speakers powered by 20 watts per side of stereo amplification. The high quality sounds include a remarkable stereo sampled concert Grand Piano, and 13 other acoustic and electric instruments, mainly keyboards, enhanced by built-in Reverb, Chorus and Brilliance effects processing.

Yamaha YDP223 features Damper, Sostenuto and Soft pedals for faithful acoustic piano-like expressiveness, MIDI and TO HOST computer connectivity for composition, notation, and sound storage or downloading. The on-board 2-track sequencer recorder is a convenient sketchpad and practice tool, and the 50 demo song presets are accompanied by a songbook.
