YELLOW ASTER MINE MINING RANDSBURG 1909 CHECK - RARE!


  Up for auction is a rare check from the California mining town of Randsburg. The date is faint, but it looks like July, 30th, 1909. Cashed at the National Bank of Los Angeles. These are getting hard to find. Photo is shown for reference, and is likely the source of this checks beautiful vignette.    

  Measures approximately 8 3/4" x 3 1/2". Cut canceled, with old folds. Randsburg is still alive and well to this day, and is worth a visit. It is a living ghost town, filled with the decendents of its original inhabitants. Be sure to have a beer in the White House saloon if you go.
