Yak Robe,hide Hair &Tail. Soft warm luxourious,exotic

This is an authentic yak hide tanned with hair and tail on. It is very soft with long slippery hair around the edges and tail with softer hair as you get near the center. This can be used for warmth in a sleigh, or for home decor such as a wall hanging, an attractive bed covering with the tail hanging over the foot end, or a floor covering (yak hides are not brittle like deer or moose) as they will hold up to foot traffic. This hide has been professionally tanned at Edmonton Tannery, Edmonton Alberta. This hide is very large and will easily cover a queen sized bed. The measurements are 6'X6.5'. The lighter color stripe down the center is not worn off, it is a light grey color hair from the hump area on the yak. Our hides are raised on our farm here in Alberta, Canada and are not imported. I have added a couple of example photos of a yak hide used as a bed covering (the bed is not for sale) and a floor covering (the cute little girl is not for sale either). I will be listing a few more colors of yak hides as we have Royal hides (black and white) and some yak/simmental cattle cross hides which produce some nice colors. The backs of these hides are finished nicely to a light colored pliable suede.
