wear. The piano is as new. The original owner purchased the piano new in 1987 and rarely played it if at all. Finish is a rich Rosewood in a vertical grain which is stunning. A brand new one is easily $25k with same player system and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. The QRS Piano Mation system is already installed and ready to go for the holidays. We even upgraded it from CD's to an Ipod preloaded with over 500 songs.
Upon arrival I decided to "freshen" up the appearance of the interior so I ordered a new set of strings and recently installed them. This gave us the opportunity to clean, polish and detail the interior of the piano. Screws, hinges, soundboard, duplexes were all high polished making the piano stunning both inside and out. Many times I have customers call me and say they are looking for a good piano but are not concerned with how it looks in order to keep th cost down, my answer is usually that I can't help them. I know as a consumer myself if I was to spend any significant amount of money I want perfection within reason. Every piano that arrives here is purchased and owned by Piano Outlet therefore every asset and abilty we have is brought to bear when getting a piano ready for sale.
