You are bidding on a classic Yamaha DX21 synth in excellent condition. All the keys and buttons function properly.

This model synth is known for sounding exactly like the very popular DX100.

However, it is actually a better option than a DX27 or DX100 because it does layers and splits, plus it has a great chorus effect. Portamento and a Unison Mono-Mode are also great bonuses. The DX21 has been used by Hardfloor, Level 42, Brother Beyond, Astral Projection, Technotronic, Vangelis, and Norman Cook (Fat Boy Slim), among others.

The keyboard layering and split capabilities basically mean that this keyboard has two separate synths in one - each can be controlled independently, and they can be combined. Even the classic DX7 can't do that!

In addition to the synth itself, I am including reproductions of three manuals/guides as well as a rare Yamaha case (with padded foam inserts) that fits this unit perfectly.
