VINTAGE YAMAHA GRAND PIANO 5ft 10in

This one of a kind  Yamaha 5ft 10in Grand Piano has a serial number of 104, making this grand piano one of Yamaha’s oldest and most original piano’s. The manager of the local Yamaha dealership said this piano is one of a kind – he said he had “never seen a Yamaha grand piano as unique and crafted like this one.” For exampe, he had never seen a Yamaha grand piano with the engraving of the word "Yamaha" into the music stand/table (see photo). The manager could not accurately determine the year of manufacture but believed it was built in the 1940’s.  The historic value of this piano is still being investigated with Yamaha headquarters in Japan!

This piano has been fully restored including new strings, hammers, flanks, shanks, dampers, felt, pegs, key tops and a magnificent refinishing of the exterior wood work and interior woodwork and metal work. The piano looks majestic. The regulation (inner workings of the keys) has loosened over the years due to its age.

This piano is one of Yamaha’s most beautiful, original and unique piano’s it has ever manufactured.
