Up for bids is a new Yamaha Russ Miller Signature Cascara Wedge in the original packaging, never opened.  This is a wood shell piece that easily attaches to the side of a 10"-18" diameter drum using the existing lugs, and makes an excellent and cost effective alternative to upgrading to wooden rims.  I've used one on my snare to project my rim shot sound for years and absolutely love it.  You could also attach to the side of a tom to achieve a great effect for latin or ethnic music.  It is extremely well constructed, including rubber washers to prevent the wing nuts from backing out and causing any loosness or rattling.  I've had mine on for years and it's stayed rock solid.  I bought this one as a back up and have had no need for it, so it's time to clean out the closet!  Happy bidding!
