Our facilities: We own our retail building. We have plenty of room and no lofty rents to pay.

Delivery: We combine our delivery service so you don't pay for idle trucks or personnel.

Buying power: We pay cash for our pianos. This is very rare in the piano business. This gives us the lowest possible cost. We price our pianos to sell quickly so we can keep up our volume buying in place

Established: We've been in business for over 80 years. This inertia allows us to keep the advertising cost at a minimum while maintaining volume sales.

Everyone works: We're family owned and operated.  There are no investors or non-income producing people on our pay-roll.  Yes, you'll find the Caruso brothers here along with everybody else.

Full-line music store: Caruso Music is a full line music store which helps to keep our piano prices so low.  We sell all types of musical instruments as well as pro-audio and video equipment.  We also have a large music school and strong outside installation business.  The piano business is cyclical with the majority of the selling taking place during the months of September thru June.  When piano sales wind down a notch or two during the summer many other areas of our sales increase.  This means we don’t have to add the slower July thru August piano months onto our year round piano prices.

All of these factors keep the prices low and the quality high. It makes plain old good sense doing it this way.

This auction is for a factory refreshed Yamaha U1 piano. It's referred to as a Studio Upright.  U1's are 48 " tall, 58 " in length and 24" in depth. Weight is 502 lbs. The U1 is our largest selling and most popular model piano.

The sound of this U1 piano is large with a warm bell like tone. It's a showroom quality piano. The cabinet gleams.  It was newly buffed back to a factory bright luster.  Your neighbors will be positive you bought a new piano. The key-tops and key-fronts are bright white.  All of the brass has a brilliant glow.

The factory technicians go through every piano and complete needed work. This  includes the final adjustments and a high quality tuning.  All pianos need this type of service before they get delivered to a customer.  The Yamaha U series piano is one of the finest examples of piano craftsmanship made today.
