Yarn Place is proud to present this new yarn to our line of offerings. It is a soft high quality fingering weight 100% wool yarn. Each ball weighs 50 grams (1.75 ounces) and is approximately 109 yards (100 meters). There are a total of 10 balls of yarn in this auction. There are many things you can do with this much luscious yarn!

As you can see from the pictures, this yarn is variegated and changes throughout the ball. The yarn is plied with shades that range from goldenrod, deep navy, rust, and deep brick red. These are all part of the same dye-lot and the same yarn is plied on each ball.

It would be fabulous used alone, or combined with one of the other terrific colors we are also introducing. Imagine a beautiful sweater or vest of yourself or someone special for a gift. It would also be wonderful for making socks or lace. Whether it is knitting hats, crocheting scarves or throws, making felted items, or creating garments or accessories, Yarn Place’s high quality yarns are for you.

This will knit or crochet up nicely using US 5 - 7 (3.75 - 4.5 mm) needles at a gauge of 5 - 5.5 stitches per inch.
