ANSWER: Yes! Unlike other eBay sellers, I am not trying to hide from you the fact that you can download just about any Linux Based Operating system for free. A google search for Linux Downloads will help guide you to the right location if you prefer to obtain your own copy! However, there are some benefits to ordering a physical DVD!
1) The Yellow Dog Linux Download is 4GB!! - On a dial up connection, this would take over 8 days to complete - assuming you dont get disconnected! - With a fast connection this can still take over 10 hours!
2) Theres no guess work with buying a DVD. You know you are getting the latest release of Yellow Dog Linux version 6 (20080207) designed for use with the Apple G4 and G5 and the Sony Playstation 3 - not any of the other Yellow Dog Linux installers for different types of systems, etc.
