Hand made of real cast Bronze, not brass or pot metal! This pretty, young girl-child is as entranced by the bird settled upon her hand as the viewer is by this child's charming antics. She is moulded into dynamic and energetic lines, with soft detailing; perfect for a child playing outside, paying no attention to her surroundings, and illustrating her innocent nature. The bluebird of happiness rests upon her hand, as can be seen by the blissful look upon the child's face: the bird that can be caught by anyone, but is also known to be quite fleet unless care is taken. She is made using the lost wax method, and hand rubbed to polish and bring out the warm glow of bronze at its best. At 15" tall, she is quite a substantial piece, large enough to be easily seen and admired without being overpowering. This is also a weighty piece, weighing nearly 12lbs, heavy enough to not easily be knocked over by mistake. This item is hand-crafted, please expect some variation and slight irregularities.
