Here is a custom, hand made, hand carved Barrel
Racing saddle made by Rico out of Greenville, TX.
For those of you who dont know the Rico name.... he
used to be son -in-law of the famous saddlemaker
Billy Cook. He learned to make saddles years ago with him.
This is a Kids Saddle that is made and rigged for a Big Horse.
Nowhere can you find a small barrel saddle
for a big horse that is Custom Hand Made.
As you can see from the pics, this is a
saddle that retails well over $850. This saddle is
made with all Herman Oak leather. The tooling is
very detailed and very deep carved. This saddle
has a 12" Redish Rust Color suede padded seat with 6 7/8" full
quarter horse bars. It has silver plated in-skirt
plate rigging. To tell you a bit more:

RIGGING: 7/8 In-skirt, Stainless 'C' plate
CANTLE: 4½" Rawhide High Back to keep them in, Stainless laced with

HORN: 3" Braided Rawhide w/ Rico of Greenville on silver horn cap.
SKIRTS: 22" long Square skirt w/ acorn oak leaf
tooling design, fleece lined
STIRRUPS: 2" Dark Rawhide Bell barrel racing
style, all hand laced
FINISH: Hand carved, Acorn oak design tooling.
Roughout Half-breed in Light oil finish with
polished edges and Stainless laced gullet
TRIM: Montana Silversmith Conchos and Flank
