THIS IS A CUSTOM ASSEMBLED, PAINTED, DETAILED AND CLEAR COATED Z SCALE MODEL FROM A CRAFTSMAN TYPE KIT FROM RS LASER, ONE OF THE NEW MANUFACTURERS TO THE Z SCALE SCENE FOR ROLLING STOCK.  THIS MODEL IS OF A 37' CATTLE STOCK CAR MADE OF LASER CUT WOOD WHILE THE ROOF IS A HEAVY CARDSTOCK WITH DETAILS LASERED IN.   THESE KITS FROM RS LASER ARE A WELCOME ADDITION TO THE Z SCALE MARKET AND PRODUCE A FINE CAR WHEN COMPLETED.  I'VE PAINTED THIS CAR IN BOXCAR RED AND WEATHERED IT TO GIVE IT A USED APPEARANCE AND IT HAS DECALS FROM MICROSCALE APPLIED TO THE SIDES. IT HAS A BRAKEWHEEL AND  SHAFT INSTALLED AND THE CAR HAS Z SCALE MT TRUCKS AND COUPLERS INSTALLED.  IT TRACKS VERY WELL AND WOULD MAKE A GREAT ADDITION TO ANY Z SCALE LINE.  FOR THE Nn3 NARROW GAUGERS LOOKING THIS CAR SCALES OUT TO 27' IN Nn3.
