GENUINE ANTIQUE PRINT, NOT A MODERN REPRODUCTION. This antique engraving was produced during the middle of the 1800s (between the 1840s/1860s). If you enjoy collecting religious engravings, this print is from a fascinating series covering both the Old and New Testaments. Every significant story in the Bible is represented. You can collect individual engravings or entire stories. Anything from the Creation and Adam and Eve to Moses to the miracles of Jesus to Revelations. While these are not especially easy to find, I've spent years building up a strong inventory of this series and can help people complete their collections.

TYPE OF PRINT: STEEL PLATE ENGRAVING produced one-side only. Shown cropped in scan to save on file size, there are margins in the actual print itself NOTE! Actual print is much nicer looking than my scan!!!

SIZE: Sheet size is approximately 5 x 7"

Condition: FINE, frameworthy. This series, produced by Virtue during the 1800s was originally issued in collectible mini folios (each folio had 4-8 different engravings). Over the years they've been broken up into individual engravings for collecting and display. As is typical for this series, virtually all examples have one margin that is short or touching the art area and some have trivial stitch holes (some have no stitch holes, but a marginal hole is to be expected). This shouldn't be considered too much of a flaw as ALL examples have a short or touching margin.
