Here is your opportunity to purchase a machine that is much more rare than most all early rear or front mount Victors, including the "RARE" Victor 6. This is the early Zonophone rear mount phonograph with the ornate metal bedplate. It is in great shape as you can see by the pictures. The crank is the original hard to find long style S crank. The horn is the all brass LARGE 20" bell diameter and 26" long that is correect for this machine. It does have one small area that looks to have been repaired at one time about the size of a quarter. It was done very good and hardly noticable. The back mount is very nice with original striping. The Grand Opera decal is in great shape and also is original. The finish is original to the machine. This machine also has the correct original concert style reproducer. The turntable was replaced with a renickeled original that also has newer felt. This machine winds and plays well. look at the pictures and if you have questions feel free to ask. I am also going to offer the record cabint that it is setting on to the high bidder for 300.00. It is a nice record cabinet made by the Herzog Art Furniture Company. It has a little needle drawer on the back right hand side and the original Herzog decal in the door. The lock has been changed at one time. I can enail more pictures of either the cabinet or the phonograph as needed. It might be possible to have this delivered to the upcomming Ill. phonogragh show for a small gas fee. If the high bidder wishes, they also can pick it up at my home. Shipping this could be expensive but I can at least ship the phonograph and horn at the buyers expense. I am only guessing at the 150.00 fee. It may be more or less. I will only charge actual.
