Richness of forms and themes that includes melodious fundamentals, rhythmical and metrical variety composed by one of the most eminent and popular Bulgarian composers-Kiril Stefanov. The CD includes 24 authentic folklore songs with modal and architectonic structure. The soloists, Choir and Orchestra are at the “Pirin” Ensemble. The conductors are Stoyan Stoyanov, Yolanta Lazarova, Petyo Krustev. Kiril Stefanov that is the Chief Art Director and Conductor at the “Pirin” Bulgarian Folk Ensemble since 1956, is a professor in Choir Conducting. He was born in Blagoevgrad on 28 March 1933 and with art of “Pirin” he has gained fame and popularity. Here what “Daily Texas” – USA has said “Of the several excellent Bulgarian folk Ensembles we know, PIRIN is undoubtedly the King! Its singers are Angels singing from Heaven!
