Hi, Meet my new little bunny Zelda (where there is a Gatsby there must be a Zelda!!)Making Zelda was definitely a new experience for me. I used some new techniques and materials I haven't used before.Her eyes are masterpiece glass dolls eyes in the new world color, and I inserted them through the inside of her head instead of needle sculpting sockets, then I used epoxy clay to sculpt eyelids and her nose. Then handpainted and shaded her features. The end result was a very real looking little animal. I keep expecting her to hop away at any moment, or to say ouch when I had to use a needle on her :) She is made of a very pretty beige colored mohair with brown tips. Her inner ears footpads and tail are made of natural colored string mohair.She is 8 inches Tall not including her ears (12 including ears) .She is five way jointed with lock nuts and bolts with a wobble head joint. She has wire armature in her arms and her ears for those cute poses! and she is firmly stuffed with polyfil and bbs for a nice weighty feel
Every kara bear will have a little gold heart on her or his bottom to let you know he or she is a genuine handmade OOAK kara bear.
They also come with a laminated hangtag with details about the bear and signed by the artist
