INTRODUCTION
The Model 3022 Instant Recall Recorder is a modular,
solid-state audio recorder designed for use in public
safety communications centers. It records and stores
the last several telephone calls or radio transactions
from an operator’s position. This allows the operator
to retrieve stored calls easily without leaving their
position to go to the logging recorder. Recording is
done into digital memory, eliminating mechanical
failures while providing instant recall. The Model 3022
stores up to 64 minutes of conversation at standard
sample rate, or up to 128 minutes at reduced sample
rate.

SPACE SAVINGS
Zetron’s modular PSAP & dispatch products provide a
high degree of functionality in a small space because
several modules may be mounted in the space of a
single panel. The Model 3022 requires only one
quarter of a 5.25" x 19" panel space. Its unique
modular design allows it to be directly mounted into
existing Motorola CENTRACOM® Series II console
panels by replacing two unused modules in a channel
control panel. For use in other consoles, the
Model 3022 may be mounted in the rack adapter or
may be mounted in the desk adapter.

RECORDING CONTROL
Recording is controlled automatically and requires no
operator action. Even while playing back an older
message, recording of a new message may take
place. Recording can be controlled by several
methods: voice-operated (VOX), contact closure (such
as off-hook condition of a telephone instrument), or
telephone line voltage detection. Line voltage
detection works for both single line and multi-button/
1A2 applications. Line audio gain is automatically
controlled to ensure proper level over a wide range of
line conditions. If desired, the Model 3022 may
provide a periodic recording warn tone on the phone
line so that callers are aware that they are being
recorded.

This unit has 8 minutes of memory installed.
