I know, I know...lots of blue here...*sigh* I tried to use other colours by taking all the blue glass off my bench. Know what happened? I froze!

I couldn't make a bead to save my life! Just knowing all the blue glass was put away stopped me dead in my tracks. I looked at all the glass on the bench...browns, greens, purples...even pink. None inspired me. I tell ya, I must have sat there for over half an hour trying to make something worthy...nothing happened.

So...I started introducing some of the blue glass back to the bench. Know what happened?

Yep, I was a lampworking fool! I made so many beads! So I guess what I'm trying to say is if you like blue...you've come to the right place! And if you don't like blue? I promise I'll keep trying other colours and hopefully have something you like next time around.

Note: Though there are alot of pictures here, this auction is for 10 (ten) beads only. The extra pictures show beads...up close and personal!

Again, thanks to all of you who have brought me to where I am now...eBay is so much more fun than physical therapy!

Bead Quantity and Sizes:
  • (10) Lampwork Focal Beads (varying sizes, the last picture shows the beads with a quarter for size reference, quarter is not included in the auction)
  • The largest bead measures 26x45mm
  • The smallest bead measures 24x27mm
  • The overall length of strand measures approx 14 1/2 inches (36.8cm)
Are my beads perfect? Absolutely not. I don't kid myself and I'm certainly not going to try and kid you! However, they are structurally sound, annealed, and pretty closely matched in size. (hey, what do you expect from the one-handed torcher?)

About The Beads:

Handmade by me from Italian, German and American glass and are wound on 1/16 or 3/32 mandrels (whichever I happen to pick up) in my Santa Cruz, CA studio. They are taken directly from the flame to my digitally controlled kiln for annealing to ensure strength and beauty . They come to you cleaned and ready to be played with!
