 Manufacture Dust pressed clay tile using a mould & horsehead press- then burned-

 Decoration Relief molded majolica.

 Decorated with colored glazes.

Strong Art nouveau design in the german jugendstil style , a delicate wreath of flowers with a gently soft proportions. Single color tile ideal to combine with blue field Highlight the quality of the glaze and the deep blue color. Ref. Jugendstil fliessen R. Simmermacher pag.22

- CONDITION: This tile is in perfect condition, no flaws or repairs exist. Cement on reverse was carefully removed so minimal traces are remaining. Surface, as you can see, has a firm color and smooth glaze surface. Only minimal scratches and tiny chips may be seen, but this is nothing for a more than 100 year old architectural piece.
