The design on this jug is very pretty. It looks sort of like a bee or a flower or both?! The jug has no cracks or chips and is 11 inches tall. It weighs about 5 3/4th lbs. There are a few yellow drips (glaze?) as you can see by the photos and one are on the side that has a mark that looks like rust. Overall this jug displays so well. I was told this was a one gallon jug (which it looks like). The New York Stoneware was made in the mid 1800's in Fort Edward, NY.
