Antique Amethyst or Purple Decanter
glass bottle with stopper

Very Old

circa 1840 or so I would estimate
Maybe much earlier not sure ?

hand blown stopper top and bottle
with open (not ground) pontil mark
also  shows wear around the bottom on the edges
great condition no  chips or cracks

5.4" diameter

11.25" tall with stopper in place

(reminds me of an ancient bottle
that would have washed up on the shore,
maybe I dream of gene and barbara felden inside)
