This is an antique unused baby record keeping book from 1947. I bought it at an estate sale at the home of the original owner who never used it and kept it in such good condition! 

Inside it says "Published by the Baby Mine Company Grand Rapids, Michigan copyright 1947". 

It is in remarkable condition for being 61 years old!  The edges and corners are bent.  The There is no writing anywhere inside.  The pages are only yellowed on edges from age.  The inside front and back pages are slightly yellowed from age. 

There are 93 pages to the book.  There are small drawings in pink, yellow, and blue on the inside pages. The book can be filled in with all sorts of information from birth through age six.   There are 2 pages for family tree, along with a tree that looks hand drawn with 3 babies with angel wings. Also included:  average weight chart to 12 months, height-weight-age table from birth to school age, "firsts everything", immunization record, early playmates, illnesses, and more. 

There also is advertising memorabilia for 7 stores located in Newark, Ohio back in 1947. 

There is information on baby care, development, sleep habits, do's and don'ts, vitamins, teeth, toilet training, eating habits and more.

Measurements:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2" x 1/4" thick

The cover is a tan caramel semi-hard (stiff) cover.  It may be leather or a synthetic leather look material, but I really do not know.  There is lovely embossing on the front ~ I hope you can pick it up in my photo.  There is a child's profile and floral embossing.  The book title is stamp embossed.    The back cover has some indentations in the leather or synthetic leather, but not torn.  This can be used for a boy or a girl, but I especially think it is charming and handsome for a boy.
