This antique salt glazed light green and cream stoneware pitcher has a cluster of grapes with vines in an octagonal shield. The top and bottom have arrow point bands and beading. The body is an impressed woodgrain. This antique has a hairline crack, a couple of small chips on top rim and several on bottom rim. There are no maker marks on it. It definitely has had a lot of use and love. It would look beautiful holding fresh flowers!
It stands 8 1/4 inches high, has a 5 inch diameter base and is about 8 inches from spout to handle.
