antique marshall &wendell ampico player piano

antique upright player piano.built by the Marshall&Wendell company of Albany N.Y. it has an ampico player unit. this piano sat in my wifes family home in MA. for about 50 or so years.we have had it here in florida since 2006 piano plays manually but some keys do not work maybe string or hammer issue not really sure. piano is complete and original has not been restored or tampered with all the original factory parts motor, bellows, pump,chains, linkages etc.as a parts source alone the ampico original parts are rare. cabinet is rough but all there ,some keys missing ivory. i did some research on the serial number 106976 and was able to get a approximate date of the late 1920s early 1930s. i also have an assortment of rolls for the player that come with it i will try to get some type of list together and add it to description. i also have some other pics of the upper compartment that i will add or i can send you direct. if you are serious and have any questions e-mail and i will send you a number to contact me by phone i think it would be faster and simpler to field questions from serious bidders this way. finally as i have already listed this item for sale locally i will reserve the right to end auction early if there are no bids and i get commitment from local buyer.

Because of size and wieght 500 to 600 lbs approximate .  i am offering a few different options on pick-up or delivery as follows

option #1  local pick-up by buyer i will accept cash for this option only though i prefer it be paid with paypal to protect both parties,

option #2 if buyer is significantly outside of the 100 mile radius that option #3 details buyer can arrange for freight company to pick -up unit at its current address. buyer responsible for all shipping costs, freight company will need to send truck with liftgate as there is no loading dock facilities at this address also be sure trucking company will pick-up at residential address. piano is currently sitting on 2 new padded furniture dollies that i purchased specifically for this. piano has small steel wheels for moving on hard smooth surface but not god for moving piano around i can strap piano to these dollies to make it easy to roll for freight company. i will only charge what i paid for dollies and for a package of small ratchet straps to secure piano to dollies. if freight company needs piano wrapped, crated,or strapped palletized there will be additional charges for materials and labor. if you chose this option contact me and freight company prior to buying to work out any details and determine packing costs. the dollies cost me 24.95 each @home depot and a package of four ratchet straps is about 20.00 dollars with tax. two straps on each furniture dolly keeps them from wanting to spin when turning or moving piano over uneven surfaces. if you choose option #2 we will need to exchange contact phone numbers to work out details of packing and pick-up time

option #3 i have a pick-up truck with a liftgate, delivery can be arranged within 100 miles of zipcode 32127. delivery will be driveway to driveway only,no ramps, no steps, no stairs, no elevators. if you are serious about buying contact me and we can determine delivery terms and cost.

since posting the ad i have been contacted by another e-bayer that tells me piano was made in 1925 i will try to confirm that for sure

according to a knowledgable source the piano was built in 1925 for sure thanks for your help
