This is a fun little concert. Selena sounds great and is very into performing. This was filmed just over a month before she was murdered. The quality is not HD - it looks like it was shot on video instead of film. The quality is still good enough for the day (back in 1995). If you are a Selena fan, definitely get this DVD. This is currently out of print so shop around for a good used copy. The one I bought was $23 cheaper than resellers through Amazon. Get this, pop it in and start dancing!

I've always been a Selena fan and every year she played at the Houston Astrodome I went however for some reason or another i was unable to attend what is now the last performance she would give at the rodeo. Myself being a american-mexican well i've always felt i could relate to her, her not having spanish as a first language, the big butt :-) yes i saw her looking great while other girls had no figure and big boobs. but i digress Tejano is a Texas thing for those of us who are more "americanized". This performance is way up there for her sing and dance for i dont know almost an hour no going backstage to change or anything just kept going till the end. She can sing a fast paced cumbia to tejano, to a soft ballad or to her telling of her man and she can embody and sings the song as if she went thru it herself. She gives her all, her heart and sings with soul. Watch as she moves a camera man to the side so she could be closer to her audience, or while dancing one of her earings fall off she quickly throws the other one and keeps on. At one point her bell bottoms were some how stuck and she has a big smile and starts to dance it off. She is simly incredible. highly recommended! HOwever in my opinion I think her recordings do give her justice but there nothing that compares to see this woman perform live. Amazing performance. Never takes a break to catch her breath or have a sip of water. Beautiful singing and high-energy dancing until the end. Will watch over and over. Great music, all are hits!
