beautiful Buddhist artwork => OM <= durable hemp wallet

This great hemp wallet was made in the himalayan kingdom of Nepal. The gentleman who made it for me is an excellent tailor whom I had the pleasure of meeting on my overland travels throughout asia. Both the hemp material, and the workmanship are of excellent quality. The inside of the wallet is lined for a soft feel, and all of the seams are well stitched for maximum durability and long lasting use. It is three-fold style with two bill fold areas (one is zippered) an inside zippered pocket, an outside zippered pocket, and many compartments for cards and papers. The wallet measures 9 1/2" wide when opened X 5" high. I can personally vouch for this product's durabiltity ~ I've been using one for years now in Hawaii's hot/wet/salty! climate and it has held up extremely well :)

The embroidery is beautiful! It is OM, this is the sacred syllable venerated since ancient times by Buddhists, Brahmins, and Hindus alike. The universe is said to have begun with this sound, and all the sounds of life are said to be contained within it. Om is thus considered the "breath of all life", and often regarded as too holy to be spoken aloud.
