      East of Iran slightly southwest of Mashad and east of Torbat-E-Haydarieh lies the town of Kashmar, which is in the eighteenth and early ninetieth century produced some very handsome and densely knotted rugs. This exceptional composition from Kashmar has borrowed design features from different weaving areas. There are some panels with tree motifs on a ground and between them a panel with a dome and some minarets set under a column arch, The floral repetition on a beige ground in the main border. The overall color harmonies and intricacy of detail make this an elegant masterpiece of the weavers.
    Kashmar carpets has the highest quality of Persian rugs and carpet of East Of Iran. Kashmar rugs and carpets are well known for their pattern and smooth structure. Warps are mostly cotton, wefts either cotton or wool. Colors are usually light blue,cream are predominate, with ivory as in contrasting color. There are other color exist in newer one such as soft green, red and brown.
