Here are two books on the Mesa Verde Cliff Dwellings and the Pueblo / Anasazi Indians:

1. “Understanding the Anasazi of Mesa Verde and Hovenweep”, Exploration – the Annual Bulletin of the School of American Research, David Grant Noble editor, c 1985, magazine-format softcover book, 8.5” x 11”, 40 pages, illustrated with B&W photos and map drawings, good condition with some wrinkling in the spine area and with moderate cover wear (surface rubbing mostly)
2. “Cliff Dwellings of the Mesa Verde, A Story in Pictures”, Don Watson, Mesa Verde Museum Association, Mesa Verde National Park, Colorado, 1961, large softcover, 9” x 12”, 52 pages, illustrated throughout with B&W photos of cliff dwellings, good condition with moderate surface wear and some browning / age discoloration on the wrappers.

The park occupies 81.4 square miles (211 square kilometers) and features numerous ruins of homes and villages built by the ancient Pueblo people known as the Anasazi. The Anasazi made this stone village their home in A.D. 1200s. It is best known for several spectacular cliff dwellings — structures built within caves and under outcroppings in cliffs — including Cliff Palace, which is thought to be the largest cliff dwelling in North America. The Spanish term Mesa Verde translates into English as ‘green table’. Mesa Verde is located near the Four Corners. The Four Corners are four states (Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah).”
