This postcard is one of a LARGE
Vintage Boxing Postcard Collection that I will be listing throughout the next week, so be sure to check back often.

Stanley Ketchel postcard has Stanley Ketchel GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. lettering printed on the front.
The oatmeal colored back has information about the fighter, his record (1908-1910), a place to affix a stamp (ONE CENT STAMP HERE), and an address space.
STANLEY KETCHEL
Although only a middleweight, Ketchel was considered a wonderful man, even against heavyweights. Out of 75 battles, he had scored 40 knockouts. He was born September 14, 1887, at Grand Rapids, Mich., but moved west when young. Ketchel was shot and killed by Walter A. Dipley at Conway, Mo., Oct. 15, 1910.

The Exhibit Supply Company is in very good condition, considering that it is 87 years old.
It has no folds or creases, and the photo image is clear. It does have minor wear on the corners and sides, and some white spots on the front. It measures 5 3/8" by 3 3/8."
This card will be inserted between two pieces of cardboard, and placed in a protective envelope for safe and secure shipping.
