c1930 SIGNED WATERCOLOR Atlantic City FISHING PIER

Item Description

This is an exceptional marine watercolor.  It is a very colorful image of a fishing boat that has pulled up to a pier ... with commercial looking buildings in the background.  It is pencil signed and inscribed.  While we have been unable to read the signature (it looks like J. Turocet or Turocsy) we can see the inscription which says "Atlantic City" (see 4th photo).  This is unquestionably an image of Atlantic City before Casino days -- probably c1930-1950.  It is well painted, clearly by a talented artist.  If you recognize this signature, we'd welcome your emails.  

This painting is nicely framed in a period wood frame that appears to be original to the painting.    

Age (circa) c1930-1950
Dimensions The frame is 26" X 20" and the art is 18" X 14"
Condition Good condition.  No damage on the art whatsoever.  No water spots, no foxing, no tears.  There is some inevitable light reflection in the photos since the painting is framed under glass.  The frame is in good shape as well.
