eBay Store For Sale Profitable At Home Business Website

You'll need a spare room to store product (or use a 10x12ft storage unit).  Artwork is either rolled and labelled or stored flat - the great thing about artwork is that you can keep a large collection of art in a relatively small area.  I even have an entire wall rack of artwork storage I will include with the auction price.

I have been selling artwork as a hobby for the past 5 years and now simply do not have the time to continue as I am working full time on another project that is taking up too much of my time.  I started buying artwork to start a collection of art and it grew and grew and grew into a hobby that has taken up more and more time and before I knew it I had an eBay store that works.

I am happy to share the marketing / buying / inventory etc. - for obvious reasons I won't be listing in this listing exactly what I do and how I do it - but I've been a marketing director and marketing consultant for some of the worlds largest corporations in the course of my career (including Pepsi, BMW, Harley-Davidson and General Motors).  I have developed a simple strategy to create a simple business buying and selling art - which I love.  It's a great business to be in. 

I am asking $72,000 for my business in its entirity - which is a great deal.  I have just under $200,000 of inventory at eBay retail cost (not actual retail cost which would be much higher).  The best part is that the store is profitable with a great return on investment ratio.  I have struggled with what the price of this eBay store / business should be - because it's a hobby and because I have a lot of inventory - all databased and all listed for sale.  As a typical rule of thumb a business is worth 2 to 3 times it's revenue.  Using this common ratio that would mean the immediate value of my eBay store as it is now is in the region of $144,000 to $216,000 (plus the almost $200,000 of inventory).  I simply don't have the time to continue, so someone will get a great deal.  You can create enough earnings from my eBay store to pay your mortgage, pay your car and enjoy the fruits of minimal labor working for yourself - being your own boss.  Right now I spend approx. 2 hours per day answering questions and packing up items for shipment.  To date this has been a hobby while I work on other business ventures.  One business in particular is taking up more time than I'd like and finding those couple hours in the day to deal with my eBay store is becoming an ongoing challenge, hence I must sell my eBay store.
